The GentleMax Pro Plus is the latest innovation from Candela, leaders in laser treatments. This laser is designed to treat patients in less time, with more power to achieve your goals faster. This laser is safe for all skin types and utilizes a built in Dynamic Cooling Device to protect your skin surface during treatment.
GentleMax Pro Plus - Laser Hair Removal
This laser has dual settings to be able to target even fine, residual hairs. The GentleMax Pro Plus utilizes a 755nm for fair hair, and 1064nm wavelength for darker hair. For more information on laser hair removal, please visit our page on that treatment.
GentleMax Pro Plus - Leg Vein Removal
In addition to unwanted hair, the GentleMax Pro Plus can be used to remove unwanted superficial veins in the legs, and small superficial veins in the face. The vascular laser is set to a wavelength that targets the pigment in blood that makes the veins visible through the skin, and the laser pulses destroy the veins. The surrounding skin and tissue are undamaged by this treatment. Over time, your body will reabsorb the destroyed vascular tissue.
Preparing for a GentleMax Pro Plus Treatment
Schedule a consultation for treatment with one of our providers as the first step for any laser treatment. You may be instructed to begin a pigment inhibiting protocol if you are prone to hyperpigmentation. If preparing for laser hair removal, shave the area to be treated the night before your appointment. Do not use any creams, lotions, or makeup the day of your appointment. Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to treatment.
GentleMax Pro Plus Treatment Aftercare
Your provider will advise you how to care for your treated areas at the end of your appointment. You may apply cold compresses to treated areas. It is essential to protect any treated areas from the sun with clothing and sunscreen SPF 30 and higher.

How many treatments will I need?
For vein removal, you may see results after one treatment! For laser hair removal, on average 6-9 treatments.
Do you offer packages?
We offer packages for laser hair removal for 3, 6, or 9 treatments. We do not offer packages for leg vein or facial vein removal
Do GentleMax Pro Plus treatments hurt?
Pain tolerance and perception of pain will differ from person to person, and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others so treatments in those areas may be more painful. For certain laser procedures we encourage patients to arrive early for the application of topical numbing cream to minimize pain and discomfort.
